Job Overview

Minimum Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean workstations and safely dispose of infectious materials
- Maintain cleanliness of predator cages, stables, and animal holding areas
- Remove bedding and clean floors and walls
- Maintain biosecurity standards
- Operate incinerator and record waste disposal
- Provide care for animals and birds in quarantine
- Feed animals according to correct dietary requirements
- Report illnesses and record daily health observations
- Perform basic animal husbandry duties
- Maintain gardens, fences, and quarantine grounds
- Inspect electric fences daily to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with clinical procedures and necropsies
- Support game capture operations
- Handle equipment and assist with carcass disposal
